Atwood Stadium
Location: Flint, MI3rd Avenue between Prospect & Begole, north of the Flint River.
Capacity: 16,500 (1941); 13,505 (1950)

Opened June 8, 1929. The stadium formed three sides of a rectangle, and looked more suited for football. The grandstand was relatively small; it had a steel frame and a wood roof. The concrete bleachers extended nearly to the RF fence, and around the LF corner almost to dead center. Right field and CF were enclosed by a 15-foot brick wall. Dressing rooms flanked both bleacher sections; the press box was in the bleachers on the 3B side. The catcher faced SE. Still used for football
