Soden's Grove

Built in 1914 by Emporia Amusement Company, designed by Mit Wilhite on the lines of Gordon & Koppel Field in Kansas City. With a clay infield and on-deck circles, the 64 foot grandstand sat 45 feet from home plate faced NE. The LF bleacher was 120 foot long and 18 foot high. $750 was the cost of the park with a provision not to interfere with the Chatauqua schedule.
