Cairo Base Ball Park
Also Known As: Sportsmen's Park 1903Location: Cairo, IL
Commercial Avenue (RF) & 40th Street (1B).
The grandstand extended past 3B, but was much shorter on the 1B side. A bleacher section adjoined the grandstand in LF. The catcher faced NE. A 1914 map shows residential areas directly east and south of the park, with Elk Pearl Button factory and the Cairo Electric and Traction Company to the SE.
