The catcher faced NE. Right center was farther away than straightaway center; the fence angled sharply away, and the ground sloped upwards toward right center. The dugouts were above ground, and constructed from corrugated metal that gave a loud thunk when struck by foul balls. The park featured brickwork in front, and sat next to the local jail.
