Noah H. Swayne Field

Opened July 3, 1909, the Field had a double-decked, concrete grandstand similar to the facility in Columbus. Extensive renovations in 1925, added 1,500 to RF pavilion; 8,500 grandstand seats, and 5,000 in the bleachers. The park was named for the man who had donated the land for the park. The catcher faced north. The park was razed in 1957. The Swayne Field shopping center now occupies the site.
