A 1949 map shows a large steel-framed grandstand with a wood roof and wood seats. Steel frame bleacher sections with wood seats ran down both lines. The catcher faced north. Dressing rooms were under the stands. Grandstand was sold and moved to Richmond, VA after 1953 season. The site became a shopping center.
