Schenectady Stadium

Also Known As: McNearney Stadium 1946-1950
Location: Schenectady, NY
Jackson Avenue, Zone 4.
Capacity: 3,500 (1950); 5,000
Dimensions (Left, Center, Right): 320-390-320
Originally named for the club owners, Pete & Jim McNearney. Since Schenectady is the home of G.E., the park had excellent lights. In fact, G.E. tested out in Schenectady the light system that it installed in Yankee Stadium. The site is now a pitch and putt golf course, but the shell of the park remains; from the outside, it still looks like a stadium.
Used by: Schenectady Blue Jays
