Eighth Street Grounds
Location: Salt Lake City, UTE. 8th Street S. (1B), between Main & State (US 89) Streets.
Capacity: 4,500 est
Major Street dead ended at the ballpark in LF. A J-shaped grandstand sat behind home plate, with the larger leg along the 1B line. A bleacher section reached from the grandstand to the RF fence. Another seating area, labeled as a grandstand, ran down the 3B line. The catcher faced NE. All of the 1901 Inter-Mountain league teams (SLC, Railway, and Short Line as well as 1900 Inter-Mountain teams Short Line and Rio Grande) played here except Lagoon who played at nearby Lagoon Resort.
