12th Street Grounds
Location: Rock Island, IL12th Street and 16th Avenue
Capacity: 1,200
The ballpark was considered "up the hill" from Downtown Rock Island, as it sat on a high bluff away from the River and city, according to Kelly Wendt of the Rock Island County Historical Society. It was on private property leased to the ball league until 1904, when the owner decided to sell the land for housing.
