The park, one block from Virginia Base Ball Park, was on land leased from the Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac RR. The side wall of an adjacent house became part of the RF fence. A 1905 map showed a grandstand with a larger leg down the 3B line. A bleacher section extended well down the LF line; seating along the 1B side was limited to a small bleacher section. The catcher faced almost due north.
