Traction Park
Also Known As: Hyde ParkLocation: Muskogee, OK
NE 51st on the Verdigris River.
Capacity: 1,500
The park was NE of city, 10-minute street car ride from the business district. Fence was 10 feet high, topped with two strands of barbed wire. Opening day April 16, 1905 for the park that seated 500 grandstand and 1,000 in the bleachers. The field is called Hyde Park today.
