This state-of-the-art facility is located along the banks of the Merrimack River. The stadium, designed by HNTB, opened April 2005 as Fisher Cats Ballpark, the facility became MerchantsAuto.com Stadium in April of 2006 in a partnership with the Singer Family and Merchants Auto. Top crowds were the League All-Star Game 8,762 (2008) and a John Smoltz 8,902 (2009.) The Fisher Cats were a repeat winner in the New Hampshire Business Review's 2009 BOB Awards as the Best Sporting Venue to Take a Client; and Merchantsauto.com Stadium was ranked as the Most Vegetarian Friendly Ballpark in all of Minor League Baseball by PETA for the second straight year.
