A 1908 map shows a grandstand that reached well down the 1B line. The bleachers ran around the RF corner. The grandstand was very much abbreviated on the 3B side; a small bleacher section was adjacent to the grandstand on the 3B side, but it could not have extended very far down the 3B line. The catcher faced south. The power plant for the state capitol building was behind the centerfield fence. Several coal and lumber mills, foundry and machine shops, and the Madison Gas and Electric Company Plant surrounded the park. Site is occupied by Madison Chamber of Commerce.
