Daisy Park built in Central City Park in 1892 for Southern League play. The park was named for Mayor S. B. "Daisy" Price; it was later known as Central City Park. The fences dropped off sharply toward the gaps in right and left center. The park was on the site of an old hippodrome that was sawed in half, providing a semi-circular grandstand. A large blackboard served as the scoreboard. The grandstand was destroyed by fire in 1928.
