Parkway Field, located on the University of Louisville campus, cost $100,000 to build in 1923. The roofed concrete and steel grandstand ran down both foul lines almost to the corners; a small bleacher area extended to the LF corner. The outfield wall was brick. The catcher faced NE. The grandstand was torn down in 1961, but the brick OF wall is still intact. The field is still used by the university baseball team.
