Double-decked Wrigley Field was designed by Zachary Taylor Davis, who had designed Wrigley Field and Comiskey Park. The LA stadium cost $1.1 million. The park also served as home to the Hollywood Stars. The catcher faced NE. In 1949, It Happens Every Spring was filmed there. The site is now the Gilbert Lindsay Recreation Center.
