Location: Houghton, MIHancock side of Portage Lake. Ripley Sands Park was in Hancock, across the Portage Lake Channel.
Fans from both Houghton and Hancock traveled to the park by passenger steamer. The park was between Linden Road and the Mineral Range RR, near the Quincy Smelter.
