Elected to Soccer Hall of Fame in 2015.
Sigi Schmid compiled a record of 271 wins and 201 losses and 141 ties in his coaching career with the Los Angeles Galaxy, Columbus Crew, Seattle Sounders FC and LA Galaxy. He began coaching during the 1999 season and last coached during the 2018 campaign. Schmid was elected to the Soccer Hall of Fame in 2015.
