The Virginia Lancers of the Atlantic Coast Hockey League ended the 1984-85 season with a record of 19 wins and 41 losses (and 4 overtime losses) for 42 points in the ACHL.
The Lancers netted 298 goals and surrendered 434, most in the league. Ron Carter scored 56 goals for Virginia, while Lee Blossom, John Tortorella and Andre Chartrain each tallied 30 or more as well. Andre Chartrain accounted for 67 assists. Carey Walker topped the squad with 17 wins and a team-best 6.19 goals against average, pacing regularly-used goaltenders.
