The Checkers netted 286 goals and surrendered 333, most in the circuit. Doug Volmar scored 63 goals for Columbus, while Bert Fizzell and Alton White tallied 30 or more as well. Bert Fizzell contributed 67 assists, and Jerry Randall recorded a 3.89 goals against average, topping goaltenders with enough qualifying appearances.
Ed Bartoli coached the team. The 1968-69 Columbus Checkers lost in the in 1st Round of the playoffs.
