The Red Sox scored 584 runs and allowed 702 runs, most in the circuit. Tony Torchia drove in 71 runs and topped batters with significant playing time with a .324 average. Paul Dowd led the squad with 11 wins, while Robert Myer recorded a 3.08 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.

Jerry Moses, Ron Klimkowski, Carmen Fanzone, Ken Wright, Dave Gray, Bob Montgomery, Sparky Lyle and Billy Rohr were all players from the 1965 Winston-Salem Red Sox who played in the Majors during their careers.
