The Red Sox scored 584 runs and allowed 702 runs, most in the circuit. Tony Torchia drove in 71 runs and topped batters with significant playing time with a .324 average. Paul Dowd led the squad with 11 wins, while Robert Myer recorded a 3.08 ERA, tops among regular hurlers.

Ron Klimkowski, Carmen Fanzone, Jerry Moses, Ken Wright, Billy Rohr, Sparky Lyle, Bob Montgomery and Dave Gray were all players from the 1965 Winston-Salem Red Sox who played in the Majors during their careers.
