The Bears conceded 598 runs, the lowest total in the circuit. Mobile plated 677 runs. Jack Baumer paced the team with 22 home runs, while Don Dillard and Bud Hutson walloped 15 or more also. Jack Baumer drove in 88 runs. Don Dillard led all regular hitters with a .319 average. Jake Striker topped the squad with 17 wins, plus Don Schaeffer and Dick Stigman, too added 15 or more wins, too Dick Stigman recorded a 2.44 ERA, leading qualifying pitchers.

Wynn Hawkins, Stan Pawloski, Jake Striker, Don Dillard, Dick Stigman, Bill Dailey and Stan Pitula were all players from the 1958 Mobile Bears who played in the Majors during their careers.
