The Keokuk/Midwest Dodgers of the Midwest League ended the 1962 season with a record of 67 wins and 57 losses, finishing fifth in the MWL.Keokuk surrendered its franchise to the league, August 7. The club played its remaining games at Dubuque, and was renamed Midwest Dodgers.
The Dodgers plated 718 runs and surrendered 684 runs. Luis Alcaraz paced Keokuk/Midwest with 16 home runs, and William Sebera walloped 15 or more also. Tony Torchia drove in 94 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time with a .338 average. Steve Anderson led the team with 14 wins, while Myrle Calmus recorded a 3.22 ERA, leading regular hurlers.
Dick Calmus and Luis Alcaraz both played in Major League Baseball during their careers.
