The Decatur Commodores of the Midwest League ended the 1963 season with a record of 62 wins and 61 losses, finishing fourth in the MWL.
The Commodores plated 548 runs, worst in the circuit, and conceded 577 runs. Thomas Yost drove in 58 runs. Terry Cobb led all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .268 clip. Nick DeMatteis topped the team with 14 wins and a team-best 1.95 earned run average, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.
