The Giants scored 552 runs and allowed 541 runs. Kazuma Okamoto walloped 39 home runs for Yomiuri, while Zelous Wheeler, Yoshihiro Maru and Hayato Sakamoto each added 15 or more, too. Kazuma Okamoto accounted for 113 RBI. Seiya Matsubara paced all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .274. Yuki Takahashi topped the squad with 11 wins, and Tomoyuki Sugano registered a 3.2 earned run average, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
