Tetsuya Utsumi led the squad with 12 wins and a team-best 2.78 earned run average, best among qualifying pitchers.

Masumi Kuwata, Gary Glover, George Arias, Koji Uehara, Hisanori Takahashi, Joe Dillon and Jeremy Powell were all players from the 2006 Yomiuri Giants who played in the Majors during their careers.
