Hideki Matsui paced the team with 22 home runs, while Hiromitsu Ochiai, Katsumi Hirosawa and Shane Mack each walloped 15 or more as well. Hideki Matsui drove in 80 runs. Hiromitsu Ochiai topped all regular batters by hitting .311. Masaki Saito led the squad with 18 wins and a team-best 2.7 ERA, leading regular hurlers.

Jimmy Jones, Takashi Kashiwada, Masumi Kuwata, Hideki Okajima, Hideki Matsui, Masao Kida, Jack Howell and Shane Mack were all players from the 1995 Yomiuri Giants who played in the Majors during their careers.
