The Yomiuri Giants of the Japan Central League ended the 1994 season with a record of 70 wins and 60 losses, finishing first in the JPCL.

The Giants plated 516 runs and surrendered 483 runs. Hideki Matsui paced Yomiuri with 20 home runs, while Dan Gladden, Hiromitsu Ochiai and Henry Cotto each walloped 15 or more also. Hiromitsu Ochiai accounted for 68 RBI. Masahiro Kawai topped all regular batters by hitting .302. Masumi Kuwata and Masaki Saito led the team with 14 wins each, and Masumi Kuwata recorded a 2.52 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers.

Hideki Matsui, Masao Kida, Henry Cotto, Jimmy Jones, Takashi Kashiwada, Masumi Kuwata and Dan Gladden were all players from the 1994 Yomiuri Giants who played in the Majors during their careers.
