The Worcester Tornadoes of the Canadian-American Association ended the 2009 season with a record of 43 wins and 50 losses, finishing fourth in the CAA.

The Tornadoes plated 417 runs and surrendered 464 runs. Carlos Sosa paced Worcester with 15 home runs and drove in 69 runs. Nick Salotti led hitters with significant playing time by connecting at a .315 clip. Ryan Lobban topped the squad with 10 wins, while Zach Zuercher recorded a 3.53 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Members of the 2009 Worcester Tornadoes who played in Major League Baseball during their careers were Yohanny Valera, Chris Colabello and Santiago Ramírez.
