The Red Sox plated 647 runs, tops in the circuit. Winston-Salem conceded 528 runs. Jose Calero paced the squad with 26 home runs, while Bill Schlesinger and Jerry Dorsch walloped 15 or more, too. Jose Calero drove in 94 runs and topped hitters with significant playing time with a .330 average. Rob Snow led the squad with 20 wins and a team-best 1.75 ERA, leading regularly-used pitchers.
