The Grays plated 568 runs and surrendered 623 runs, most in the league. George Wopinek paced Williamsport with 16 home runs and accounted for 86 RBI. Roy LeFevre led all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .287 clip. Don Dangleis topped the squad with 13 wins and a team-best 2.9 ERA, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.
Bill Mazeroski, Bill Hall, Harry Fisher, Sam Hill, Fred Green, Don Carlsen and Bobby Del Greco were all players from the 1954 Williamsport Grays who played in the Majors during their careers.
