The Wenatchee Chiefs of the Northwest League ended the 1962 season with a record of 72 wins and 69 losses, finishing third in the NWL.
The Chiefs plated 716 runs and conceded 698 runs. Billy Cowan paced Wenatchee with 24 home runs, while Nelson Mathews, Kenneth Fruchter and Danny Murphy each walloped 15 or more as well. Billy Cowan drove in 86 runs. Ron Campbell led batters with significant playing time by hitting .306. Art Thompson topped the team with 15 wins, and Bill Ballou recorded a 3.41 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
