The Victoria Rosebuds of the Texas League ended the 1959 season with a record of 86 wins and 60 losses, finishing first in the TL.

The Rosebuds tallied 759 runs and gave up 639 runs. Carl Warwick walloped 35 home runs for Victoria, while Frank Howard, Charley Smith and Don Miles each added 15 or more, too. Carl Warwick drove in 94 runs and topped all regular hitters by connecting at a .331 clip. C. B. Beringer paced the team with 19 wins, plus Ford Young, too contributed 15 or more wins, too C. B. Beringer registered a 3.35 earned run average, leading regular hurlers.
