The Tacoma Twins of the Pacific Coast League ended the 1976 season with a record of 76 wins and 69 losses, finishing second in the league's West Division.

The Twins led the league with just 654 runs allowed. Tacoma scored 733 runs. Bob Gorinski paced the team with 28 home runs, while Mike Poepping, Randy Bass, Rick Renick and Willie Norwood each walloped 15 or more also. Bob Gorinski drove in 110 runs. Willie Norwood topped all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .303 average. Mark Wiley paced the squad with 15 wins and a team-best 3.7 ERA, best among regular hurlers.
