The Tokyo Orions of the Japan Pacific League ended the 1965 season with a record of 62 wins and 74 losses, finishing fifth in the JPPL.
The Orions plated 476 runs and allowed 472 runs. Stan Palys paced Tokyo with 25 home runs, and Takeo Daigo walloped 15 or more, too. Stan Palys drove in 72 runs. Tadashi Hatta led all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .275 average. Masaaki Koyama topped the squad with 20 wins and a team-best 2.35 earned run average, tops among regular hurlers.
Stan Palys played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Tokyo Orions to do so.
