The Tokyo Orions of the Japan Pacific League ended the 1964 season with a record of 77 wins and 68 losses, finishing fourth in the JPPL.
The Orions paced the league with just 512 runs allowed. Tokyo scored 535 runs, worst in the league,. Kihachi Enomoto and Stan Palys powered the squad with 17 home runs apiece., and Michael Solomko walloped 15 or more also. Masuho Maeda drove in 72 runs. Kihachi Enomoto topped all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .298 average. Masaaki Koyama recorded 30 wins on the mound for the squad, while Katsuji Sakai added 15 or more wins, too Yoshiro Tsumajima earned a 2.14 ERA, tops among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
Stan Palys played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Tokyo Orions to do so.
