The Toei Flyers of the Japan Pacific League ended the 1966 season with a record of 70 wins and 60 losses, finishing third in the JPPL.
The Flyers led the league with 480 runs. Toei surrendered 443 runs. Isao Harimoto paced the squad with 28 home runs and drove in 90 runs, while leading all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .330 average. Yukio Ozaki earned 24 wins on the mound for the team, and Kenshiro Saga, too added 15 or more wins, too Masayuki Dobashi registered a 2.29 earned run average, best among regular hurlers.
Norm Larker and Don Zimmer both played in Major League Baseball during their careers.
