The Toei Flyers of the Japan Pacific League ended the 1958 season with a record of 57 wins and 70 losses, finishing fifth in the JPPL.
The Flyers tallied 419 runs and allowed 442 runs. Jack Ladra drove in 57 runs. Shoichi Busujima paced all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .306 average. Masayuki Dobashi topped the squad with 21 wins, while Bill Nishita, too added 15 or more wins, too Katsumi Kanayama registered a 2.11 earned run average, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances. Yoshiyuki Iwamoto served as manager.
