The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays of the Midwest League ended the 2005 season with a record of 72 wins and 67 losses, finishing third in the league's East Division.

The Devil Rays plated 668 runs and gave up 639 runs. Reid Brignac paced Southwest Michigan with 15 home runs Shaun Cumberland accounted for 69 RBI. Fernando Perez topped all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .289 clip.
