The Savannah Reds of the South Atlantic League ended the 1959 season with a record of 67 wins and 73 losses, finishing sixth in the SAL.

The Reds scored 610 runs and conceded 677 runs. Cliff Cook walloped 32 home runs for Savannah and drove in 100 runs. Thomas St. John paced all regular batters with a .283 average. Duane Richards topped the team with 16 wins, while James Sprankle also added 15 or more wins also Duane Richards registered a 3.2 earned run average, best among hurlers with significant time on the mound.
