The San Antonio Missions of the Texas League ended the 1954 season with a record of 78 wins and 83 losses, finishing fifth in the TL.

The Missions scored 754 runs and conceded 798 runs. Frank Kellert walloped 41 home runs for San Antonio, while Jim Pisoni, Witty Quintana and Jerry Jacobs each swatted 15 or more, too. Frank Kellert drove in 146 runs. Joe Durham led hitters with significant playing time with a .318 average. Ryne Duren topped the team with 14 wins and a team-best 3.44 ERA, tops among qualifying pitchers.
