The Seibu Lions of the Japan Pacific League ended the 1993 season with a record of 74 wins and 53 losses, finishing first in the JPPL.

The Lions led the league with just 421 runs allowed. Seibu scored 512 runs. Koji Akiyama walloped 30 home runs for the team, while Hiromichi Ishige and Kazuhiro Kiyohara swatted 15 or more as well. Kazuhiro Kiyohara recorded 75 runs batted in. Hatsuhiko Tsuji paced all regular batters with a .319 average. Kimiyasu Kudo topped the team with 15 wins and a team-best 2.06 ERA, best among regular hurlers.

José Tolentino played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Seibu Lions to do so.

Masahiko Mori served as manager.
