The San Antonio Bullets of the Texas League ended the 1963 season with a record of 79 wins and 61 losses, finishing first in the TL.

The Bullets gave up 619 runs, the lowest total in the circuit. San Antonio plated 727 runs. Ed Olivares paced the team with 23 home runs, while Chuck Harrison, Aaron Pointer, Jim Wynn and Ron Davis each walloped 15 or more, too. Ed Olivares drove in 90 runs. Mike White led all qualifying hitters on the roster by connecting at a .324 clip. Cliff Davis topped the squad with 13 wins, and Raymond Cordeiro registered a 2.64 earned run average, leading regular hurlers.
