The Atoms scored 364 runs, worst in the league, and yielded 475 runs. Lou Jackson led Sankei with 20 home runs, while Sadayuki Tokutake walloped 15 or more also. Sadayuki Tokutake recorded 55 runs batted in and topped all regular batters with a .249 average. Susumu Sato paced the squad with 12 wins, and Kiyotake Suzuki registered a 2.33 earned run average, tops among qualifying pitchers.
Lou Jackson and Román Mejías both played in Major League Baseball during their careers.
