The Red Wings scored 670 runs and allowed 641 runs. Jim Frey and Leon Wagner led Rochester with 16 home runs apiece., while Billy Harrell, Gene Oliver and Wally Shannon each walloped 15 or more also. Billy Harrell drove in 78 runs. Jim Frey topped all regular hitters by connecting at a .317 clip. Bobby Tiefenauer and Willard Schmidt paced the squad with 11 wins each, and Cal Browning recorded a 3.5 ERA, best among qualifying pitchers.
