The Quincy Cubs of the Midwest League ended the 1965 season with a record of 69 wins and 50 losses, finishing second in the MWL.

The Cubs scored 572 runs and gave up 489 runs. Woody Foster led Quincy with 14 home runs and drove in 74 runs. Tom Lindsey paced all regular batters with a .269 average. Jim Ellis topped the team with 14 wins, while Ron Law earned a 2.23 ERA, best among pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.

Jim Ellis, Ken Rudolph, Bob Terlecki, Al Severinsen, Jim Qualls, Garry Jestadt, Ray Newman and Ron Law were all players from the 1965 Quincy Cubs who played in the Majors during their careers.
