The Quad Cities Cubs of the Midwest League ended the 1982 season with a record of 79 wins and 60 losses, finishing first in the league's South Division.

The Cubs plated 668 runs and surrendered 643 runs. Wendell Henderson paced Quad Cities with 10 home runs and recorded 66 runs batted in, while leading all qualifying hitters on the roster by hitting .290. Darryl Banks topped the squad with 13 wins, and Tim Clarke recorded a 2.91 ERA, leading pitchers with enough qualifying appearances.
