The Tides scored 603 runs and allowed 582 runs. Lawrence Clayton led Portsmouth with 15 home runs Buddy Bradford and Lawrence Clayton each accounted for 75 RBI. Ed Stroud topped all regular batters by hitting .323. Rudy May paced the squad with 13 wins and a team-best 2.55 ERA, best among regularly-used pitchers.
