The Osaka Tigers of the Japan Central League ended the 1950 season with a record of 70 wins and 67 losses, finishing fourth in the JPCL.
The Tigers plated 766 runs and yielded 696 runs. Fumio Fujimura walloped 39 home runs for Osaka, while Choei Shirasaka and Tsuguo Goto added 15 or more, too. Fumio Fujimura accounted for 146 RBI and topped all qualifying hitters on the roster with a .362 average. Kiyoshi Uchiyama and Tadayoshi Kajioka led the squad with 12 wins each, and Keiji Komada recorded a 3.55 ERA, tops among regularly-used pitchers. Kenjiro Matsuki served as manager.
