Akitoshi Kodama paced Osaka with 20 home runs and accounted for 69 RBI, while leading all regular batters by hitting .301. Glenn Mickens topped the squad with 13 wins and a team-best 2.24 ERA, leading hurlers with significant time on the mound.
Glenn Mickens played in Major League Baseball during his career, the only member of the Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes to do so.
